Clown Triggerfish are striking saltwater fish known for their bold black, white, and yellow patterns and distinctive spotted markings. They require a large marine aquarium of at least 300 gallons as adults, with stable water conditions, a temperature of 76–82°F, a pH of 8.1–8.4, and a specific gravity of 1.020–1.026. Provide strong filtration, plenty of swimming space, and sturdy rockwork with hiding places. Clown Triggerfish are carnivores and should be fed a varied diet of Gamma shrimp, squid, krill, clams, and other meaty marine foods to support healthy growth and help wear down their continuously growing teeth. They become increasingly territorial and aggressive as they mature, so they are generally unsuitable for peaceful community tanks or reef aquariums, where they may eat smaller fish, shrimp, crabs, and other invertebrates. Due to their large adult size and aggressive temperament, they are best suited for experienced saltwater aquarists with appropriately sized aquariums.

Is Quality Marine able to get and guarantee Clown Triggers that have been caught without cyanide use from a reliable source that can be ordered through a Marine aquarium store? Thank you.

Hello, thank you for reaching out. None of our vendors use any cyanide when catching and we ensure this by doing surprise audits throughout the year. Our suppliers must follow strict sets of standards to work with us.

Glad to hear that. Thank you
