White Wyoming clown 11 yrs old. Roughly 5 weeks ago she decided to stop eating, not moving much, hanging out in her corner. That lasted 2 weeks and started after I loaded the tank with Tisbe pods and whatever Algae barn mix of pods is. That led to her skinny look. The last three weeks she’s very active, eating well, looking like her old self except for the ‘slim’ look and today I see stringy pop, not white not brown, in between color. In 11 yrs. this is the first, no fish added. 34g tank with her, court jester and mandarin.

They eat Reef Frenzy, frozen and TDO chroma boost xsmall pellets.
What do I need to do? Anything to worry about ? Thanks in advance for any help.

That is probably mucus from the starvation/starting feeding again. As long as it continues to feed well, I don’t think there is anything to treat for.

Agreed. fish are what they eat and often lack of food or food consumed is often assumed to be internal parasite. I believe this will progress into normal feces as stated by Jay
Looks darned good for its' age

Focus and metro in food works really well for me. I’d rather feed meds over dosing the whole tank with Prazi. I use Prazi in my quarantine tank with no negative issues but I’m careful what I add to my reef. https://humble.fish has any and all info about this.

She’s completely fine and begging for food every time I step into the room. Loves her reef frenzy so much she takes it from my fingernails.

Did you use any medication to treat her? How is she now?
