Looking to add more than 8 to 10 clownfish to 220G tank. Does anyone have experience? What are the best clownfish to add?

Where's the joke? If you have nothing to offer, move on.
I offer my opinion, in a lighthearted sarcastic and descriptive fashion. I did actually laugh.

I would not presume to advise you on what to do, except to enjoy yourself here on this forum. Good luck.

I tried this, being a noob a few years back, thinking oohhh pretty. Did not work, the lighting maroon stayed and the ocellaris went to a friend. Glad I had the sense to put them in an acclimation box first cause Karen ripped it down to get at the occelaris, good thing she has no thumbs, or she'd have killed them. Karen is a 5-6" lmc and even now that she's breeding (her mate's name is Chad), has never been so violent except to my fingers...

It's not a bad idea either, and quite common in big tanks.

What type do you like? Who is the vendor? Will there be an Anemone?
I have a 220G but i think the overwhelming feedback from experienced reefers is too wait until I'm able to master the hobby. I will simply get a set of mocha clown and call it a day.

thanks for the feeback. I think i'm going to stick with a set while i'm learning

That's fair and thank you for the feedback. I'm new to the forum and fairly new to the hobby. Based on the feedback, I'm going to simply stick with a pair and call it a day.

Welcome to the forum. Most everyone here is pretty cool. The mods do a great job of keeping things running smoothly.

I personally will never keep another clownfish. They get mean and territorial and are prone to violence, especially in smaller systems. In a 220, you should have plenty of elbow room for a pair.
