I currently have 1 clownfish in my main 35 gallon tank. I recently set up a new tank and once it is done cycling I would like to have a pair of clowns be my first fish. Could I transfer my clown and purchase and quarantine a different clown and hope they pair, or is that too risky. I am not sure how the other clown passed in my main tank but it did. It was either from agression from my stupid damsel or the other clown.

I have a similar question regarding my bangaii. I currently have one and he killed the other one about 2 ish years ago. Would it be a bad idea to add in 2 more to my tank in hopes they will school?

Clownfish are damsels. Highly territorial and will fight to the death. Sometimes they are peaceful, but not in my experience. Only way mine stopped biting me was to get it an anemone.
I swear every time I see one.
Good luck
