Clownfish Behavior

LFS had these 2 as a pair. No problems in store, bags, or drip container. When I dropped them in my tank. This started.. is this bc they’re in a new tank? LFS said he had them 2 weeks and previous owner had them at least 6 months together with no issues. The sebae acts like it’s getting electrocuted or something after she pecks him so I’m hoping it’s just them re-establishing dominance? They seem to have calmed down a little since the video though but any ideas or knowledge would be great

Uggg a Tomato and a Clarki, almost the same size. Typically territorial types, if they are not paired you will find out soon.
Give it a try I guess, but consider taking one back. Hopefully there will be very little bickering.
Consider a breeder box and or mirror if things go south.

Most list 2 clowns as getting along as a pair. That does not mean they are a pair. You've also got 2 different clown species both of which can be aggressive when they are big and not normally paired up. The behavior appears to be typical of clownfish for now. Just be prepared for it to possibly turn into a real battle and you will need to separate.
