I had a clown doing great in my tank for 3 weeks. Added a smaller one yesterday. As soon as it was in the tank the first one started acting weird. Laying on its side in the corner and pushing at the glass. At first I thought it was just weird clown behavior. There was no stressed breathing or other signs. Could it have just stressed itself to death?

Well most ppl are gonna say you should quarantine your fish lol.

Do you test for ammonia and nitrite?

It’s a 20 cube. Both ammonia & nitrates at zero. I know I should quarantine but it’s not an option yet. I just got back into the hobby and it’s my only tank.
