Hello! I'm looking for some help.
I added this clownfish 5 days ago and it's been swimming around super erratically, faster yesterday and today.
Tank established 6 months ago with hermit crab, turbo snail, and corals doing great.
Water parameters are 8.4 pH, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 20 nitrate, 0.1 phosphate, 25C.
I initially thought it was a flow issue since my water was pretty stagnant, so redirected my powerhead up, which is making great ripples at the top.
It eats pellets well although it spits out an air bubble every time it swallows.
No visible white dots like ich or anything.
I think it's stressed, but I can't figure out what it could be.
I'm going to do a 10% water change to lower nitrates today and will be trying out a new light cycle tomorrow with lower intensity. I thought it might be seeing its own reflections in the glass.
What else could it be? I'd really appreciate any help. Thank you.
