Just a rant…

Came home last night to find one of my clowns on the floor. I have a screen top on the way but I didn’t feel the need to cover the tank sooner since clowns don’t usually jump. I guess they were doing their clown thing and got a little feisty. I hate that it happened. They were the only two fish in my tank. I’m awaiting my two candy basslets to complete QT and at that point, the clown will come out.

sorry to hear that happened. when you mentioned taking the single clown out, are you not keeping clowns anymore?

Clowns have a tendency to jump, particularly when they are jousting to determine who will be the dominant (female) and the submissive (male).

Correct. The plan for my new 33g was/is to have just the two candy basslets and corals.
The clowns were there to continue the cycle until the basslets arrived
