Clownfish paired or not?

Yesterday, they laid eggs, but since the eggs were white, they ate them. I do see them fighting sometimes, but it only lasts for a second or two, which is followed by one of them doing the twitchy dance. These two are so confusing!

yeah i’d say they’re prolly a pair, is one bigger than the other?

If they weren't a pair, they wouldn't have layed eggs.
 
And don't get a BTA unless you want it. Your clowns will probably ignore it.

I've never owned a clownfish that didn't take up residence in an Anemone.

You're a lucky one then. I have 2 clowns and 2 BTAs and they are happily separated. Not to mention I've read countless posts about people having the same experience as I.

LOL! I had forgotten all about the twitchy dance! I had a pair of O. Clowns that would get into a spat, then one would dance!

I'm not saying it doesn't happen, just that it hasn't been my experience.
