my clownfish that I have had for years randomly died and I tested the water and this is the test, the nitrate is high but would this have killed him?!??! And should I be nervous about my other fish???

High nitrate is often just a leading indicator for overall poor water quality. This includes things that are not easy to test for.

It’s worth just doing a few larger water changes to get back to a reasonable zone.

Just did a 10g water change and it's a 60g and I will do another 10g water change Tuesday and I got some chemicals to help so hopefully that gets it back to normal
