Recently got a larger female clown and she seems to be splashing at night. No other fish bother her but she likes to hang out at the top of the tank and she rests in the top corner every night. Each morning I come downstairs and notice water drips on the tank and stand from her splashing (just witnessed it). Any idea why she’s doing that unprovoked?

Not abnormal… mine does the same especially at feeding time

My larger clown splashes me when I take off the lid. Seems about right. My clowns (I assume they’re sleeping) during lights out hang out near the overflow near the waterline.

I have one that was as docile as a kitten, and suddenly became very aggressive. I was just doing maintenance, and it was attacking anything that went in the tank. I am wondering even though it is the only fish if it is female and laid eggs, and is in defense mode
