I would agree about using a different method to check your salt levels. That are not reliable enough. Never have that issue with a refractometer. Isn't that funny. If you wanted to catch him in a container to remove him or any fish from your tank, you'd never convince him to enter it. Put something in the tank that you would never think a fish could bet into and he finds a way.

I thought my coworker story about siphoning out his wife's goby during a water change would be the craziest fish story I heard today. He dumped the water with the goby in the bark mulch outside, only to realize it was gone 10 minutes later. He found it outside (35F degrees) and it seems fine now.

poor little guy, so glad he's fine now. Get a refractometer, hydrometers are no very accurate

I have a fish that sleeps in mine every night lol. He gets himself in there and gets himself out. I was worried when I first saw it happen...but every night he kept going back in. At least he’s cozy!
