Hello! I noticed today my Wyoming White clownfish swimming oddly. It's laying around on the rocks quite a bit, and doing this odd flutter motion when in the water column, but is currently still active and eating. I was wondering if this was a swim bladder problem or just a random behavioral change. I was also wondering if- in the case of this being a swim bladder problem- it's too late to do anything to fix it or if there's a treatment I could use. Thank you!

The water in the tank looks fairly stagnant, it could be a low oxygen issue. He also looks a little skinny so I would recommend feeding some medicated food a few times per day, which should also help with any potential blockages. What are your water parameters at?

I just checked and my powerheads had gotten gunked up, so that explains the lack of movement. I'll clean those off and get them running tonight. I also realized I ran out of tests, I'll get some more and update my parameters in here tomorrow, sorry!

All good hopefully the powerheads running will make a difference in his behavior. If not and your parameters test okay I would look into getting some medicated food.

Fish is thin and weak and need longer play time with a little more blue light s swim behavior may be associated with brook but need to confirm

gonna start upping feeding for sure, i didn't realize they were that skinny. the other clown is a lot fatter so my guess was that i wasn't feeding enough for this smaller one to get the food. and i can tweak my lights. curious as to how to increase playtime, though. i haven't really heard that before but would love tips, i think i get what you mean but i'm just not certain how to help it.

Just wanted to pop into the thread and say I'm seeing an immediate improvement in its swimming after fixing the pumps and doing a larger feeding! Thanks for the tips everyone, I'll keep a closer watch on those going forward.
