I highly recommend sourcing quarantined captive-bred clowns that are already trained on frozen and pellet foods. It’s much safer than taking a gamble on unconditioned fish. Getting a pair that’s already 'tank-stable' will save you a lot of stress in the long run.

Known tips? Well, a healthy diet and good water quality is a start. Pretty hardy fish that can be territorial at times. Very cool swim pattern, I love how they get around the tank. Nothing better than a clownfish in a beautiful BTA in my opinion. Id be happy with a tank that had a couple clowns and BTA with a couple tridacna.

Depending on the size of your tank, if it’s on the smaller side they will likely be the only inhabitant of said tank other than inverts, (mine iced any shrimp that I tried to add) also not all of them are the same. Like maroon’s are more aggressive/territorial, while skunks are on the more Docile side. They can be hosted by Anemone’s, and sometimes other types of coral.. Duncan’s and I think I’d even heard elegance to name a few. Very hardy fish none the less, feed like most other fish I.e. Frozen Mysis Supplemented with a good Pellet food…. Oh and chances are they will go to great lengths to nip at you if you put your hand in the tank lol.
