Clownfish transition

Hey everyone I recently purchased a very small clownfish from my lfs he is a skinny little guy and I'm going to qt him to make sure he's all good and I want to fatten him up. I'm sure he will be fine
But I already have a female in my dt.
Should I worry that he will start to transition before he goes into the display?

You should be fine, the transition takes months.

It shouldn't be an issue. The female might mess with he little guy at first just to show she's the boss, but eventually will stop.. I have 9 clowns in my tank, eventually the aggression stopped after the female was established..
