Clownfish wanting to host??

so i have a pair of ocellaris clownfish and they are both very healthy and happy i just noticed that one of them i think it is the male i cant really tell yet but i have a cyano problem and there are thick small mats on the rocks and what he does is in the nighttime and daytime but more in the nighttime but he finds crevices in the rock with lots of cyano in it and just lays there does this mean this clownfish want to host an anemone or something? here is a pic:

it looks dead in the pic but he sways back and forth while flapping his tails and opens his mouth like he is breathing
 
Clowns are dumb- they will host a soda can or stick of dynamite if you give them the opportunity
I would really address the cyano issue. Blow loose with turkey baster and either net the loose stuff or siphon it up.
