Having had an SPS tank for the past few years, I am rather "diligent" on my water parameters and testing thereof. However, it's time for a change. I am converting my 40 breeder into a clown tank with a divider. I have used ATI in the past for water parameters and have a question. Our city water (prior to 6 stage RO/DI and new "silicon buster" DI members was laced with silicates which I understand is somewhat typical. I have reduced the silicates in the tank prior by 92% but still have a marked level which I assume will dimish over time with continued water changes. Are there any resources out that would indicate tolerance to silicates for clownfish? ALL other ATI tested parameters are within tolerance. Any information or personal knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thank in advance. jff
