A couple of days ago I noticed one of my clownfish had a bump where his anus is. Its hard to get a good picture of it but hopefully that helps.

Any idea what this is and if there's anything I can do to help?

Thank you!

Maybe a better picture

Is that a bump, or perhaps a piece of feces? In this last pic, that looks like feces to me, which is often just their diet, but if 'striggy' the could be a sign of internal parasites.

The fish looks quite robust to me otherwise. Do you notice anything else "off" with the behavior or appearance of this fish?

This looks to be intestinal blockage or even constipation. Dont feed for 12-24 hours and see if bump subsides. In addition.... if blockage, feeding brine shrimp will help object pass through

Definitely not feces it's a clear bump but kinda hard to see in pictures. I've only had them for about a month (they were rehomed) but it's acting normal and still has a strong appetite.

Thank you for the advice, I fed spirulina brine shrimp today so will try going a day without feeding.

Any advice if it doesn't go away? Just feed small amounts of brine shrimp?

May be worth a shot with kanamyacin (Kanaplex) but I know Canada is limited with meds
