Is it ok to pair a black snowflake ocellaris with a regular ocellaris? Also, should I buy one of them big hoping for a female and the other really small?

Yes that would be fine. You don’t need to buy one that’s already female, chances are your LFS will have young clowns so you could get one slightly larger then the other and it will turn female. I’ve even gotten them the same size before and it did take longer for them to figure out who would be the boss, but eventually the more dominant one became the lady.

Yup, generally with Occ and Percula you can change up the different varieties without too much difficulty.
