Are all clowns picky eaters? I only have a pair of ocellaris clowns - no other fish. I feed frozen mysis and Larry's reef frenzy twice a day. Frozen mysis in the morning and Larry's in the evening. I don't feed a lot but a good portion of it they spit out or don't even try to eat. I use 1/8 of a frozen cube each feeding and that seems plenty since there seems to be plenty left over for CUC and corals. They do seem to enjoy Larry's more so I use a piece a little bigger than 1/8 a cube in the evening.

They appear to be healthy so I'm not too worried. Just wondering if this is typical with clowns?

Hmmm...my clown is a pig! He eats pellets & brine shrimp. Unfortunately that's the only experience I have with clowns, sorry.

Maybe try something different food like High spectrum pellets or Pellets with Garlic. I feed these alternating days to our Clown and likes them.
