I have mine in the middle of my jbj 28g under reefbreeders value fixture at 60 blue and 50 white with med flow. Just got back from a week vacation and have 6 new babies on my 5 polyp colony!

I no longer have this colony, but I've recently planted the seeds for a couple more to get going. My favorite polyp. Grew it to a huge colony, of 6" diameter all the way around, before taking a break from corals for about 6 months. Remains the biggest rasta colony ive seen in person or online. I always loved taken pics of it with my iPhone.

here are mine growing 10" under a 1g radion with tir lens, over 30 polyps and growing fast

Good conditions and they grow super fast. Especially the more of them thy are :)

I Had mine for 3 weeks in that time it only half opened sprouted 2 babys, it wasn't until I moved it up it from the middle to the top quarter its opened fully and only closes at night

WOW that looks amazing to se them on the sand bed, is it a shallow tank ? cant wait till mine make a nice colony

Here's mine. Keep just an inch or 2 above sandbed. Low flow. under LEDs. Started from 3 heads, got about 15-16 now. fragged it 3 times though. Doing great!

Finally got my 1st polyp about 6 months ago. Started with 1, now I have 9. My favorite by far out of all my zoas.
