Co2 Scrubber and Trident controlled dosing

I have a Euphyllia dominate tank that has been suffering from low PH 7.6 to 8, I'll hit 8.1 occasionally. So I setup a CO2 scrubber and after 24hrs the corals look amazing. Over night PH was 8.15 and topping out at 8.35 ( apex controlled solenoid opens at 8.35).

I have been running AFR in this tank for the past few months. However I have been thinking and obviously I am going to get some PH fluctuation as the media expires so ALK and CAL consumption is also going to fluctuate. I am thinking about switching over to ESV 2 part (been running it for a little while in another tank) and enabling trident controlled dosing to help account for the demand fluctuations.

I this a good idea or am I missing something?

I am doing what you are doing -- I run my co2 scrubber a bit tighter (8.25 to 8.35) based on my apex and the solenoid I have to open and shut and pull outside air (I calibrate my ph probe alot thought for peace of mind)

I currently run notafeesh 2 part and only dose during light hours -- and my PH stays constant between my ranges that I have my co2 scrubber set to and I found that my alk stays more consistent with dosing during lights on instead of spread out and dosed 24/7

so for me-- I see your plan working based on how I am running mine and it working for me
