Hi,
I have developed and am selling a recirculating CO2 scrubber that saves space and setup time but I have a concern about people having soda lime over their sumps. I am wondering if flakes of the soda lime falling into the sump would be bad for the tanks inhabitants.

The CO2 scrubber is here: its basically a Skimmer lid basket that recaptures the air to feed back into the skimmer.
I'll be posting install videos and more information soon. My prototype MKIII is ready... (photos are the MKI)

Installed and ran it. It overflowed and didnt cause too much of a fuss. my weep holes weren't big enough so water was pulled through the media and some overflowed into the sump. There was a Ph spike but not too bad and my Alk didn't change much.
Dialed back my skimmer a bit and its been running great. Because its recirculating I don't get any bad smells either.
