Co2 scrubber question

Sorry if it’s been addressed I couldn’t find it. Hooking up a scrubber using the recirculating design with the skimmer.

does it matter if the in/out of the reactor goes in that direction? For fluid sure. But does it still matter for air? I’m only asking because the air lines are much neater if I can do it backwards.

Assuming I'm visualizing the issue correctly, then yes, you can use it either way. Just to make sure, what are you using to hold your scrubber media?
