On the ULM tanks I saw that you used some course mesh to keep the Chaeto in the refugium area I'm just wondering how that's working is bits of chaeto getting through it or does it seem to be stopping it all?

Since we’re building these as we film the series, we haven’t put them to the test just yet. However, I can say that we have the blue color mesh in the BRS160 sump that is on the outflow side of the refugium which not only helps to dampen sound, but has consequently also kept cheato particles from leaving the fuge and getting to the pump.

I’ve personally seen a decrease in the amount of times I clean the pump screen!

I copied your idea and am trying the same with the green mesh. I'm hoping when it's time to clean it I can just slide another mesh board behind it and toss the dirty one in the dishwasher. Fingers crossed for both of us... great idea!!
