Is there a way to code to temporarily disable probes when x event occurs?

I would like my pH and salt probes to stop reading when my ATO is active so that my alarms aren't triggered and my other equipment doesn't change states based on pH and salt readings. Thank you.

The probes will always gather data, and there's no programmable way to turn them off. However, you can programmatically suspend the alarm programming. The best way to do this is to place monitoring of specific conditions into a virtual output, program it to ignore the readings when the ATO is active, and then monitor that virtual output state in your EmailAlm program.

Example:

[Alert_Salt] --- virtual output
Set OFF
If Salt < 33.0 Then ON
If Salt > 35.5 Then ON
If Output ATO = ON Then OFF

[EmailAlm]
Set OFF
If Output Alert_Salt = ON Then ON
