Dang your growth tips are really taking off. Mine is growing super thick and stubby with lots of encrusting!
I cut down on the flow to try for some more vertical growth. Hoping at least one nub decides to reach up!

I shouldn't tell you this but I take it out each day and run fresh water over it for 20-30 min 👍
That's the secret.......

@skey44 Obviously joking, thank you for the compliment. But I wouldn't say cutting flow would help. Ill try and snap a picture when I get home today, but this dude is directly in front of a powerhead. Well actually not at the moment cus I took it out last night to clean but normally its directly in front of a Jebao, dont remember the size number because there always changing. but its softball size. Frag is about 12 inches away from the pump and if you held a ruler from bottom of the outlet on the pump it would be right at horizontal with the top of the frag.
All that being said I think allot of this is luck, go look at my unnamed frag lol its been stalled out for awhile 🤷‍♂️

Gotya. I have it very close to an mp10. I just moved the mp by a half inch or so to prevent direct flow. It was plating against the flow. Obviously just a little too much!

Can see here how much I moved the mp if you look closely on the glass at the algae ring.
I’m definitely getting growth. It’s just not the exact growth type I’m wanting!

So your setup actually really similar to the way I have mine setup.

#battlecrew November entry. I'm totally bummed. I found out that I have AEFW so today all the rockwork came out, made a pvc rack and the first Potassium Chloride dip started. 6 Weeks to go ☹️

This is one of the few colonies that were directly affected. you can see the lower left where they started to feed. maybe its the reason its growing stubbly. Hopefully it survives all the dips.

NOVEMBER 2025
Colliderscope is proving to be an extremely fast grower. I'm going to have to move it in another month or so as it will eventually hit the return line. Really nice purple tips also! Colors are a bit washed out from the front due to the T5's being on full tilt. #battlecrew

Thanks Adam! A little poster fun at my water station in the garage.

Personally the poster worked fine for me! My wife suggested I put it in the garage. Most likely motivated to get it out of the house lol. I’m glad she did I like it there.
