Hello :)
Now that my 10 gal in not inhabited by a qt'ed fish, Im looking for its permanent resident.
I like the diamond/yellow gobies that filter the sand but theyre so drab in color. I had tried a pistol pair at one point and they kept me awake all night. Oh, and I want something that spends majority of its time swimming. Like clown gobies just sit there...lol

So what is an interesting (small) fish that wont bug my rock nems?

Fish that I already have (Im not a duplicate type of gal haha):
snowflake clown
orchid dottyback
6 line
coris wrasse
midas blenny
talbots damsel
mystery wrasse

Edit: the 10 has no fish-the fish list are my other tanks inhabitants :)

As far as gobies go, my fav are pink bar and Dracula gobies. They are so very colorful. Also like Randal goby. With that said, u already have too many fish in a 10g. Especially with a mystery and a six line, any new addition may get harassed. The dottyback is also a territorial specie. All these may be bad news to the timid goby.

Fish I would consider for a 10g include Pseudocheilinops ataenia, neon goby, pike blenny, firefish, geometric pygmy hawk.

My yellow clown goby hops all over the tank. I had an aurora/pink bar goby that was pretty active once, too, although they get kind of large for 10 gallons. Yasha is another good one, but can be a little pricey.

Hectors goby/ green banded have some nice color... the hectors will do a bit of sifting as well as pick at hair algae.
