So weird, always heard people say they started with 5 or so and they killed each other, I had 5 in my tank for about 2 years until I had to tear it down and move. Sure they fought a little, but nothing to the death.
I love my fishies!!

I am looking for suggestions on some colorful reef safe schooling fish for my 125g. It is 5ft long and I currently have a pair of clowns, one spot foxface, coral beauty, mandarine and a small electric blue damsel that is currently in my 40g. I am waiting to move the damsel over to the 125g after I get all the other fish that I want to add. I am planning on adding a powder blue tang, a wrasse, a goby and another type of tang.
If you're looking for something different that schools, I have 2 ORA White Spotted Pygmy Filefish. They're a mated pair, but you can actually put more than 2 together. They're complete friendly, never fight with each other or other fish. They don't mess with my corals or inverts at all. They were eating mysis, pellets, flakes, almost anything I throw in there. They change color depending on the lighting and background, their eyes are bright blue. Really interesting fish that you don't see often. They stick together all over the tank, will come right up and eat from your fingers.

The only thing with anthias is that I always would get a actual male. I had all females at one point and two turned into males at once. I ended up with both of them dead.

I've heard the trouble with that is the risk of getting a male who isn't as dominant a fish as one of the females, so you end up with a nasty battle of her trying to take his place. No personal experience with this; just something to consider. Bartlett's seem to have the worst reputation for an entire harem all turning male.
