I need to upgrade my submersible pump in my IM 15 and was going to get something with more flow and add a dual head nozzle. I also want to add a wavemaker on the other side. Is there any system that allows of that is combined with one controller that I can randomize flow and also be able to turn it off when feeding? I already feel like I have too many cables dangling and am trying to minimize them as much as possible.

Not that I am aware of, but you could use a variable speed pump to change the flow.

I have been searching for the smallest wave maker for 10-gallon tanks and smaller, but there just aren't any out there. I am toying with making my own using a standard micro powerhead and a relay switch with alternating directional flow.
