I just got in a pair of Black Cap Basslets yesterday to add to my 240. ( after quarantine)
This morning I caught a glimpse ( about 1 second ) of a Swissguard Basslet that I had though perished long ago.
I have not seen that fish in 6 months.
Do I need to be worried about the 2 different basslets?

In a 240, you should be fine. Basslets can be territorial, but usually they just pick one area or cave to defend. As long as there is enough space for both to establish their own territory they should be ok. And better that the swissgaurd was there first, since he is the more timid species.

Aa long as each has sufficient space there won't be an issue. Neither of those species claims a large territory. A 240g is more than enough.

He is very timid. I've only seen it a couple times in the past year, and none in the last 6 months.
