Conch shed

My conch looks like it is shedding a film of some sort. Basically looks like an onion skin if you will. Is this good, bad or normal?

Is it attached to the shell? Wondering if it’s debris that stuck on the shell versus coming from the snail itself.

It appears to be attached. I can try with long tweezers to tug on it and see. Just do t wanna hurt the conch

Have you tested your calcium levels, mine is approximately 4 years old now (pictures just for reference)
Conch shells grow with snail so I don't think they molt like crabs shrimp etc
But I could be wrong?
I would not pull on it, maybe turkey blast it to see if loose :)
It's wierd lol :)
