Confused please help

Ok I have this coral






due to the polyps we believe it is a Cyphastrea

Can anyone confirm this and what the " common name" is. It is very deep purple with almost floresent green polyps.

I got this and a blue ridge that I posted for sale. I am not into cyphastrea and if I put it for sale under cyphastrea people will be like ?, so yes named. Its actually pretty big its 5 x 4 aprox.

I think you'll be ok just calling it a deep purple with green polyp cyphastrea. I don't think you are going to find a more common name. Nice looking piece

I agree with Richie. Plus, it is better to not have a name for it than to name it incorrectly.

A mod is going to shake their finger at you for asking for pricing. But here is my take. Because it is such a large piece you are going to have a hard time selling it because it is going to take up a lot of real-estate . Shipping is going to be outrageous. Probably going to get a better deal if you can sell it locally.

I removed it to save face and not anger the mods :) Like I said never sold livestock online.. I have been trying to sell it locally and nobody seems to be interested....
