I purchased a used apex classic here on R2R. I hooked it all up and got it powered. It is connected to my Ethernet. My controller says Apex Fusion:Comm OK. I'm trying to link it to my fusion account. How do I do that? It doesn't give me a token just says Comm OK

Was it completely reset to factory? If so, then here are the instructions:

Link Apex to Fusion

Steps
  1. Choose Link to Fusion on your Apex dashboard.
  2. You'll be provided with a token.
  3. Within 10 minutes, enter that token here to link your Apex to Apex Fusion.

It was not. How do I do that?
If you have the display module then follow these directions from Neptune:

When you initialize the Apex the FUSION link will be removed and, you will then need to re-link the Apex to your Fusion account:

*Initialization will erase corruption and everything else. Copy your programming onto a notepad or go to APEXFUSION.com and print the summary.

  • If you wish start go to your Display Module and go to SYSTEM> INIT MEMORY> INIT ALL> YES
  • Everything will turn blinking orange
  • Wait 5 minutes
  • Check all your Apex Equipment everything should turn to back green status.
  • Make sure the internet connection cable is secure and connected.
  • Once the Display Module is back up go to SYSTEM> NETSETUP> DHCP(turn this ON) > RESTART.
  • Wait 2 minutes for the restart to finish.
  • Go to the Display when it starts up and look at APEXFUSION: option. It should say 'LINK'
  • Click on LINK twice, you'll get your special Code.
  • Go to www.ApexFusion.com and sign in
  • You will now need to remove your previous Apex Controllers like this image here. Click Remove.
  • Then go back to your Display and get a NEW link token.
  • Relink up to Fusion again.

If you don't have the display module, then login to the local console of your Apex and check the "misc" settings. I believe the initialize button is located there. Unfortunately, my Apex Classic is not in use right now so I can't tell you for sure, but it should at least point you in the right direction.
