in my recent transition to metal halides I've had a lot of problems with my controller. resets, breaker going, generally unusual behavior. After some investigation the culprit was found - my metal halide lights. With some help from a fellow local reefer we managed to tame the halide beast.

As a perk, the wife is extra happy as the TV no longer distorts when the halide lights are on :) happy wife is a happy reefer!

Or more..... I have said all along that MH cause problems.
because of the noise they emit, Think old spark gap transmitters.
