I have an Apex coming in the mail later this week. Picked it because of all the excellent reviews I've read and recommendations.

Any can be a challenge to install and configure. I have a reefkeeper so I can only speak on it. It took me a lot of reading to get it figured out. The company has their limitations but my controller does its job perfectly. Day in and day out

I've not used one, but from everything I've read, apex is the way to go.

I have an Apex and with Fusion being released is one of the simplest controllers to hook up and program. Depending on what you are wanting to control and have at your fingertips will depend on the model, you buy. The full Apex is the cheapest way to go if you will use all its features (cheaper than buying everything separate) and apples to apples about same price as the RK if you buy everything to make it comparable to the apex. Apex all the way! With Fusion programming is much easier. They've got great tech support and an amazing community forum where you can get any type of help you would need.

Apex! I run a 240 and 75 with my one apex. Fusion made it simple. The forum is awesome, have a question or want to program an outlet to do a certain thing just ask it there. Awesome product

Apex. It has everything you need to be successful and a great community back you to get it tweaked out the way that you want.

I have 2 DA Lites & 2 DA Elites. I've been running DA, for 4-5 years. I've never owned an Apex, however, I would recommend Apex over DA. I've had a number of issues with SL1 modules, PH probes and accurate readings. In addition, Apex, has many more viable solutions (i.e. probes, controllable units for Ecotech, etc.). In addition, they are on the forefront of development.
