So, the jokes on me. I was super excited about the article The Salty Sandbox cause I thought it was real.

Is there anyone interested in a real get together put in motion by R2R? Maybe a couple days event somewhere? Some of the marketers could put up some displays of new equipment. Give out some stickers and shirts (freebies).

Maybe we can't go snorkeling or kayaking but it sure would be nice to go to a convention and meet some of you folks.

How can we get this started?

I think logistics would play a big role in attendance. I'm pretty much in the middle of nowhere so a 2 day drive wouldn't work for me. I love the idea though.

How far is the airport?

About 2 hours but the amount of drugs or alcohol it would take to get me on a airplane wouldn't make the trip cost intuitive. LOL

I lived in Hawaii 5.5 years, Im no stranger to the ocean. We need to celebrate our hobby as friends. Promote some good sellers. Meet, drink, and be merry! @revhtree your name has come up twice about this. What are the working plans? How can I help coordinate?

I just think after all this time it needs to be done.
