My LED's died after 5 years, light spectrum shifted. SO I pulled my old Hamilton MH hood and have been using that until I decide what to do, one option is of course new LEDs, another is to convert the T12s in the Hamilton Hood to t5s and run that hood with the MH and converted t5's, or change the t12s to LEDs and run MH and LEDs.
!) has anyone converted a hood with t12s to t5s
2)Has anyone converted a hood with t12s to LEDs?
3 Have MH bulbs gotten any cheaper, the original reason I switched to LEDs
Thanks

I took a current 24/7 that had pc. Bulbs and cut it from 4 feet to 3. I removed the pc. And added t5s. So I have 1 150 and 2 t5 over a 40. I am also adding 20 3watt leds. So yes it can Def be done.
