Have you checked out Deano Cook? He’s practically The Godfather of marine life tattoos. He’s tattooed Wyland, and assisted him on several of his murals.

I have an appointment with Deano for a marine sleeve, he's booked 6 months out, my date is in December and I had to prepay for a half of day. Deano's work is amazing!

Well, after speaking to him about what I wanted, he asked me to send him pictures and he would come up with something, so basically you get what he wants but its your idea. I totally understand that as he's the artist and probably has a much better idea of what looks right.

Having said that, my wife and I got married in Maui so I picked tangs and angels native to the islands along with the Hawaiian green sea turtle and a coral reef background. I didn't originally pick a sea turtle but his work with turtles is amazing so I asked for one.
1. Yellow Tang.
2. Yellow eye Kole tang.
3. Achilles Tang.
4. Adult Emperor Angel
5. Majestic Angel.

I'm not sure if I'll get them all or what but I'm excited and trust that I'll be happy either way. It's gonna be a long wait until December! I already have the second session booked in January!

He doesn't quote a time, there are variables such as how well a person's skin takes the ink, how much they wiggle in the chair, etc. I already have booked 8-10 hours.

Yeah, that’ll be a new one for me. Not sure I can go that long but he books so far in advance, I want to make the most of it. Deano only sees one client per day, that way you get his undivided attention.

Yep, I’m pretty good on the meaty parts but you never know. This will be my first real high dollar work so his needle may go a little deeper! That sounded strange! Lol!
