I woke up yesterday morning and did my tank check as usual. I looked at my acans and I see 2 little blue stick looking things coming out of the mouth. I look closer and it was hermit crab legs!!! I have never seen an acan eat a hermit crab before.

Are you sure it wasn't a hermit crab molted shell? It would be really hard for a Acan to get a live one.

I did'y see a shell and the legs didn't look hollow like a malted shell normally does. IDK but if it actually cought a hermit this would be the coolest thing to happen to my tank since..........ever lol

I think it was either the molt or the crab from a molt process gone wrong. or ive seen this before, were a crab is trying to change into a bigger shell and the current sweeps him away right into my frog spawn, and tadaa happy frog spawn
