So I noticed on my every glass of my tank, there has been hundreds of copepods running around. It's like they just came overnight. are there any downsides to having too much copepods? I also feel bad cleaning the tank bc i don't want wipe them all out. Also, i did notice that brown film/dust algae on my glass is no loner comes back as fast. Is this due to the copepods eating it up?

Be happy you have so many! There good for the tank and probably helping to remove the brown film algae. Some fish, like wrasses, particular enjoy hunting and eating them all day long.
