Can copepods make it out alive going through a return pump? I want to add some to my refugium but want them in the display as well. Will they make the crazy trip without having to put them directly into the DT?

Yes. I have them in my sump fuge. I find them all the time in the filter socks. Which means they made it out the fuge, through the return pump into the DT and through the over flows. I tap out the socks and put pods back in the tank, there still alive.

I've had them in my filter sock before but wasn't sure about them running through a pump. The overflows are gravity fed so it's easy to see why they can live through that.

I understand that. But my pods only got to my tank from the fuge. Which would mean they had to travel through the pump to get there.

due to their size they should handle the trip thru the pump.:) I do not use mechanical filtration on my tanks.
