Just noticed these little guys tonight while admiring my tank under the blue lights. When a light is shined onto the rock the critters can’t be seen. Are they copepods or can aquarium get “insects”. Is it ok that they are in there??

Thanks for any help identifying!

tisbe pods look like tiny specks, if you look hard you might be able to see them darting around but i wouldn't strain my eyes too much! tigger pods and amphipods are a bit bigger and kinda have a flea like appearance.. typically you want these guys in the system; they're desirable microfauna that also act as part of CUC
