Copepods?

Is this copepods or something else there so many white dots moving at night in my tank I wanna know if it’s copepods

Nobody can tell unless you capture some and put it under a microscope. If they are just crawling on the glass at night I would assume it is copepods or amphipods. If you get some wrasse and Mandarin fish you will not see them in abundance anymore I used to have copepods crawling all over my glass boundary and night. Then I added fish and I now have to struggle to find the copepods!

lol I just wanna make sure before adding a mandarin I don’t want it dying just incase it wasn’t copepods

If you have a 50+ gallon tank and decently mature that can likely support one Manderin without any spot feeding or dosing. I have 2 Mandarins in my 110g display which is also supported by a 30g sump. I never feed my Mandarin anything directly and there are two wrasse and a Pigmy Hawkfish who are also picking at the rocks and sand all day presumably looking for pods and small critters.

The Mandarins from Biota seem to be very well adapted to live in aquariums.
