Copper power

I live in Canada where all veterinary drugs including fish have been pulled of the shelf. I found somewhere I can procure copper power and absolutely want to perform proper ich eradication QT. How long is the product good for (opened and unopened) if I was to order a bunch to keep on hand for new arrivals? I can't seem to find that information anywhere. And how many gallons does it treat per oz?
