Successfully keeping a Copperband Butterfly starts with feeding!!! A minimum of twice a day. If you happen to have extra high flow in your tank feed even more or consider not caring for CBBs. Starving these fish is a real thing.
Since discovering a larger version of Mysis Shrimp, I’ve felt more confident about my CBBs diet. I’ve been feeding my 180g tank these freshwater mysis for over a year. There’s also a lot of nutrition packed into there shrimp. A friendly tip. Good luck!!!

I raise the white worms. Its easy to start a culture. Ebay usually has people selling starters.
Black worms I get from Eastern Aquatics. I buy a lb a month and keep them in plastic tubs in a beer fridge. You have to change water often. Some LFS also carry them and sell by the ounce. I do have a 600 gallon tank and some very hungry fish.
