So I got a copperband a few weeks ago, it was eating brine shrimp at the LFS which is why I got it. Put it in the tank and wouldn't eat a thing for a week, tried live mussels, LRS, brine shrimp, blood worms and wouldn't touch it. Got live black worms which it eats. It follows me around the tank looking for them. Will investigate any feeding tube for black worms. I've tried sneaking frozen food in with the black worms and it just spits it out. It's nibbling on Acans too which I'll live with if it means it survives. Also has destroyed all my aptasia which I count as a bonus. So its eating, it swims with the other fish during feeding, looks at the frozen but only consumes black worms.

Is there any suggestions or tricks I can use to get it onto frozen? I'm committed to culturing black worms to keep this fish alive but hoping I can eventually get it on frozen.

Mine only ate live blackworms for the first 6 weeks. I ran out for a few weeks and eventually it started eating smaller mysis. It’s been a year and the bulk of its diet is what ever it picks on the rocks, small mysis, Masstick that I put on his special piece of feeding rock rubble, and I still feed live black worms once in a while if I see him getting a little thin. Definitely try Masstick.
