I was going to build a manifold to run 2 reactors each 1/2 plumbing and then a UV which is 3/4. Should I build the manifold as 1" or should I build it as 1 1/4 which is the same out as my Cor 20? 1" would fit better for me, but I want to do what going to work best for the manifold and the items connected.

Thanks

If you want to maximize flow, then you will want to keep it as large for as long as possible, and reduce right angles and use 45 degree elbows when possible.

But then again, if 1” works better for you, it’ll probably still work fine.

I would have it come out vertically from the pump at 1.25 and the make the initial turn(s), and then start reducing to 1. But that’s just me and how I’m designing my new manifold.
