I have a coral beauty in my 90 gallon reef and want to add a flame angel. Has anybody kept the two together successfully? Are they more likely to fight?

Not recommended, but yes it can work in a larger tank. A 90 is borderline (I think a 6' long tank would be more appropriate). Bottom line is, there is maybe a 50% chance of it working out. Really depends on the individual fish and their personalities.

I had both in a 180g tank for a long time. Coral Beauty was first and did chase the Flame for the first few days. If you have a fish trap and can easily catch your fish ( IMO: Everyone should have one and prepared to use it ), if you see any aggression catch the coral beauty with the trap and put it in a timeout in your sump or an acclimation box for a couple of days for the flame to settle in.
