Just received my QP-9 Plus, and I must say how impressed I have been in less than two hours. Put this on a 40G breeder, which I'm using as a frag tank, and it is "boiling" the water, but in a "gentle" way. What I mean is that it moves the water, but there is not a specific area that seems to be just blasted, everything seems to be moving.

Cons:
The power plug/Transformer is rectangle, broad and not power strip friendly.
The head is only movable in a down, and limited up movement, does not seem to have side to side.

Pros:
As this has a bulbous head, which is designed to flow a wide stream of water, the inlets are wide so debris would not clog it so easily.
Very quiet.
Moves a lot of water, but not like a water hose.
Nicer control box with no knobs.

Will have to see the longevity, my Jabeo power head lasted more than a year with another still running.
